1. Comprehensive Theory Coverage (Pure & Applied Maths):

As a B.Sc. Engineering Graduate with deep mathematical knowledge, the theory for both Pure Maths and Applied Maths is covered clearly, correctly, and simply from the very beginning. No concepts will be missed!

2. Discussion of Past Exam Questions Relevant to Every Lesson:

At the end of every lesson, all relevant past examination questions will be discussed in detail. This will clarify how questions are asked in the exam and how to write correct answers.

3. Discussion of Model Questions:

Knowledge will be developed by discussing carefully selected model papers relevant to the new examination structure, which the lecturer believes are crucial for the exam.

4. "Brain Blitz" Paper Series - For Time Management:

A specially designed series of "Brain Blitz" papers will be conducted to effectively manage time for Part A questions during the exam. Here, techniques required to solve questions in a short time will be practiced.

5. One-to-One Discussions for Progress Review:

On a pre-allocated date monthly, each student's academic progress, study plans, and any subject-related issues will be discussed individually, and necessary guidance will be provided.

6. Full Paper Writing and Discussion:

Students will be given the opportunity to write a series of full model papers for Pure Maths and Applied Maths separately, designed according to the new examination pattern. Paper writing will take place under the lecturer's supervision.

After the papers are written, the Marking Scheme relevant to each question will be clearly discussed. This will provide you with extensive knowledge on facing the examination.

Parental Coordination:

Meetings will be held for parents, providing an opportunity to discuss the child's progress and answer any parental concerns.

Daily Progress Monitoring:

A methodology for preparing special study plans (Time Tables) for the period leading up to the examination will be taught from the start.

The lecturer will personally monitor the daily progress of the student at the end of every day.

About the Lecturer:

A graduate of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya: B.Sc. Engineering (UoP) and a Master's (Postgraduate) Degree holder.
