I possess a strong background in Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science, specializing in these fields at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJP). My approach to teaching is centered on understanding how students learn best, allowing me to create lesson plans that are engaging and effective in boosting their confidence in mathematics.
I encourage students to identify and learn from their mistakes, fostering a mindset of perseverance and determination. My teaching method avoids the "because I said so" attitude and instead focuses on being supportive and informative. I value the importance of not just being an educator, but also a mentor who genuinely cares about my students' progress.
This educational environment is designed for students eager to learn and grow in their mathematical journey. I offer combined mathematics classes for A/L in both Sinhala and English mediums, local Mathematics, Statistics, and IT classes from grade 6 to O/L in both Sinhala and English mediums as well as Cambridge and Edexcel mathematics classes from grade 6 to undergraduate level. Additionally, These classes are available both online and through home visits.
